    Hi,

I have a leaking air conditioning condenser and wish to replace it. Does anyone know the part number or whether it is actually a Toyota part?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

For information for the community. The Condenser is a Daihatsu part, specific to the Copen 1.3 and only available from Japan at ~ £500.

Hi, I'm also searching for a condenser, did you end up importing it? Is there a supplier we can get it cheaper? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay been snowed under at work. In the end I didn't need a Condenser so I don't know the part number as the dealer declined to tell me.

I took the car to another air con bloke who used old school soapy water sprayed on everything rather than a sniffer. He correctly diagnosed a holed pipe from compressor to condenser and no condenser leak.

The condenser for the Diahatsu Cuore is close in size but I don't know if the connections are the same size. The bloke I took it too also suggested a generic condenser and messing with the pipes before he found out it wasn't the condenser.

For info for the community the pipe from compressor to condenser is specific to the 1.3 and is over £300 from the dealer (imported from Japan). A company called BeCool refurbished and repaired my existing one. Not cheap but cheaper than the import. Now installed and regassed. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
